Ooooh ... err!!!
I've got a new hair-style .... well ... wig style!
To quote Frank Spencer ... "I've had a little bit of trouble, Betty."
You see, I do my own very short hairstyle with some electric clippers - a number 8 cut.
And there I was, just starting to cut and it pulled my hair a bit. So I took the comb off to put some oil on the blade, got distracted and ...
That's a lot of hair came off, I thought. And then looked in the mirror - A big wide stripe, right down the centre of my scalp!
And I was going to a party that night! So I cut the rest off (I look a bit like Sinead O'Connor) and dashed off to the wig shop.
So now I've got straight blonde hair - Never had that before. And I have to wear a beanie to bed ... 'cos it's COLD!

A person should have an opinion on everything, It becomes tact whether you reveal that opinion or not.

Re: Ooooh ... err!!!
Sorry Di but
Not at you but what you did!
Boxing day my daughters partner was here and asked if I'd cut his hair...
I got out the clippers, number 4 he wanted, he asked if i had it right. Thought I did, showed him and all seemed ok.
First cut up the side of his head
Looked like a rat running up my arm! All this hair!
I had forgotten to put on the guard thingy and did just a blade cut!
It will soon grow back but then you may like your wig!
Jo

Sorry Di, but that is soooooo funny. Please post a pic in your blonde wig.
I do my sons hair with the clippers, but when he was small he turned his head just as I was finishing off with the scissors and ended up with a V shaped cut in his ear.
He did more that shout Ooooh Err.... I've never heard the last of it.

Not a drop, Pete!
Just trying to do 59 things at once, as usual.
Looking at the picture that I took to send to my mum ... it doesn't really look blond - the blond whaddayacallems don't show up in the light, but I'll have a go at a new avatar.
Nobody recognises me. I've been having such fun!

I like your wig Dianel but it makes you look so different, could do with one myself for bad hair days.

Won't know until I see the quack later this week.
Doesn't make you confident when they are all standing around the monitor pointing and discussing and then asking you to repeat certain tests.
