Thanks to peterd who introduced me to this site and it looks like it could be very useful for my research and hopefully I can share some of my own information.

My grandparents came from Rowley Regis and Halesowen, main surnames are Dyas, Neate, Payne and Macklin.

I live away from the area now in Northampton, but all my family still live in the Blackheath and Halesowen area still, so I am up at least monthly.

Thanks for the introduction I recognise a few of the names from the old Rowley site and the Black Country gob. Are there any other sites I should know about?
