Ducie and I are seeing whether we can help each other with our HARROLD lines. Anyone else who can give ideas or assistance, please join in.

The parents of my convict ancestor, Benjamin PERRY, born 1803, Rowley Regis, were William PERRY (Oct 1761, Rowley Regis), and Mary (Mary Ann?) HARROLD (abt 1764, Rowley Regis).

The IGI (extracted record) has:
WILLIAM PERRY
Marriages:
Spouse: MARY HARROLD
Marriage: 16 APR 1788 Rowley Regis, Stafford, England

On Free BMDs:
In the Rowley Regis Parish Register:
"05 Aug 1764 Mary, d. of John & Jane Harold bap."

I don't know for sure if this is my Mary. If it is, she has at least two siblings:
All born to John & Jane HARROLD at Rowley Regis -

SARAH HARROLD - Christening: 01 JAN 1769 Rowley Regis, Stafford, England

I think there may have been these other children to John & Jane HARROLD:
John (1756 - 1761)
Samuel (1758 - 1792)
Hannah (1759) (married 1. Samuel BISSELL, 2. JOHN SMITH)
John (1762) (married Susannah LOWE)
Sarah (1769 - 1771)

The only marriages that I have been able to find for a John HARROLD to a Jane around the right time are:
