hi all ,
can some kind soul look up the 1911 census details for sidaway brothers!

james sidaway born 1896 killed in action 13/10/15
david sidaway born 1897 killed in action 1/7/16
thomas sidaway born 1887 died of wounds 15/10/16 :cry:

the 1901 census has them living with parents james and ellen in pear tree street, old hill. the rowley regis roll of honour has the family living at 24 pearson street(cradley heath ward)

There are 4 in the right area of the right age but only the one below is listed as a chainmaker - the same occupation as in 1901

that isnt him! my fault! :oops: he was still in army in 1911 :oops: he joined the army reserve in 1912 and rejoined his unit until july 1914. luckly his service papers survived on ancestry
