That was Slim Dusty who sang that.

He made over 100 albums before he kicked the bucket a few years ago and I think my father has at least 80 of them.

To be honest, my favourite "drinking hole" has to be the Catholic club back in my hometown. It's not much to look at, but there's a warm family atmosphere in there. No food or anything like that, just a bar with good prices, a tv, snooker table and plenty of comfy seats.

Much better than anywhere I've found so far where I now live. Full of chain bars and other things like that. Not the sort of place where you can walk in and immediately recognise someone.
