Just one of those days??

Post by grangers14 »

Have you had one of them days when everything seems to go to pot?
My day.
Made my daughter a cup of tea and myself a coffee, she said this cup of tea tastes of coffee?
I was having a drop of cream in mine and when I have that I put two spoons of coffee in it. Thought mine didn't taste that strong, I must have put the extra spoon in her tea! :?
Put the bed sheets outside to dry only for a bird to poop twice on the sheet!
So had to rewash it! Tumble dried it then though.
Thought we would have a quiche and salad for tea.
Only to find there was little to put in the salad.
Forgot to put the quiche in the oven, when I did, forgot it was in and burnt it!
Went to make potato salad, but no potatoes!

Just been out the back and there was a terrible noise coming from the shed. I got my daughter to come with me.
I thought it sounded like the pressure washer. Thats unplugged so couldn't understand it. :?
It was coming from the big freezer. Dont know what was wrong though, turned it off and back on again and seems ok now? :?
Thats just been stocked up so hope it will be ok.
She shouted bang as we were coming out, scared me to death, screamed and almost fell on the floor over my stick!

Thats just some of many! Hope tomorrow will be better and I'm not in such a pickle!
Jo

What was that film where this couple on honeymoon broke down in the desert and the husband left his wife with the car while he went walking for help and when he got back his wife had disappeared?
After many escapades he eventually found iher in the big freezer of someone's house!! Just in time she was still alive!!

cook it all and you can proberly re freeze it
A person should have an opinion on everything, It becomes tact whether you reveal that opinion or not.

Don't think that's a good thing Peter.
Surely refreezing food after they have thawed, even after cookin them, isn't healthu.
But hey who am i? What do the other few contributers to The Snug think ? :?

I refreeze meat that has been cooked Rob.

The problem with me cooking and refreezing the food is I have no freezer now!

Managed to get the food in some neighbours freezers. So can manage for the time being, just have to make sure thery are in when I need it!

Emailed my hubby about it, he was very sympathetic.

Today can only get better then love!! dont know what to suggest about the freezer. Good luck.

Yep the coal house would be the better place NL!

I'll ignore your ageist comments Rob, but beauty sleep....I could do with sleeping 24 hrs a day

I would never re-freeze stuff that had thawed out but, if meat is cooked within some sort of gravy or sauce, I think it's o'k
