Hi Jan, Is it possible to go further on the following family.
My wife's mothers family Bate, I have been trying to get some information about wifes Grandfather Samuel Henry Bate, all I can find is from Army records on FreeCen, In 1915 he enlisted in the 11th North Staffs Regiment at the age of 49 previous to that he was 7 years in Worcester Regiment and obviously went to India, he married an high caste Parsee girl they had 3 children born there, came back to England and had 4 more children, one of which was wifes mother his address when he enlisted the second time was 64,Ward St Priestfield W'ton/Bilston.

I would like to find name and details of his wife, may be difficult her being Indian.....Bombay where many Parsees live.
