That one that Mally found on free bmd do the couples marry up on census?

Thomas on marriage is a Hostler or Hossler
so inn keeper?
or someone that looks after horses.../blacksmiths assis?
it was deffo spelt
horstler

I just feel that marriage is for a different couple not the couple on census
