Does anybody know where this is?
I have several people who are born in the registration district of Shifnal (Shiffnal) but put their place of birth down as Burlington, Staffordshire in some census.
It is not in the list of parishes covered by Shifnal and does not appear in my Index Of Place Names.
Burlington Staffordshire....

I knew I would find it just after posting....
It is now called Burlington Pool and is a stones throw from Sheriff Hales and in Shropshire.
It may have been in Stffordshire prior to 1896 when everything under Shifnal changed to Shropshire.
It never had its own Parish.
Very pretty........I wish I could visit some of these places!
