We have Thomas Cutler on bcc:-
http://bcconnections.tribalpages.com/tr ... onnections
and he has a son William Cutler born 1793
I have added a William Cutler born c. 1789 ( various dates on Census) who married an Hannah Unknown :-
http://bcconnections.tribalpages.com/tr ... onnections
They had a son George Cutler who married an Ann Unknown c.1846
On Ancestry a lot of Trees have these two families connected with no validation.
Also Unknown spouses are different and further I think the wife of George is diffferent again i.e. an Ann Andrews

I don't have them connected on my tree.

I have a new set of Halesowen Registers being delivered tommorow.

These have been recently transcribed (2003) from the originals and are a bit more accurate than the ones published in 1908....

I have ordered these specifically to sort out these entangled Cutler families in Halesowen.

With your William c 1789 the most common marriage is with Ann Billington in June 1822, Dudley. This would cover the birth of George in 1824.

Thanks Mark,
I am in process of collating information on Cutler and other families from Bartley Green and Northfield ( I have inserted most on bcc) and have had some help from Bartley Green History Group and a cousin of mine from Henshaw and Brookes family who has a lot of photos and info as her mother who was born in Northfield is still living at 94.

William Cutler born July 1793 in Halesowen is also recorded as marrying Ann Billington at Saint Thomas, Dudley on 02 June 1822 in some trees.

If you have Saint Thomas registers, can you see who the witnesses are?

Most trees have this Thomas and Ann giving birth to the George who married an Ann at Kings Norton in 1846.

William Cutler 1793 has the following siblings.

Daniel 1791, Timothy 1795, Mary 1797, John 1801/2, George 1808, Thomas 1812, James 1815 all born Warley Wigorn/Halesown and all baptised at Halesowen.

Deaths Dec 1871.
Cutler William. age 92. King's N. 6c. 2[56]9.

Image shows clearly 6c. 269.

Which puts him born abt 1779.
