Came across these occupations whilst checking 1851 Census:
at The Wharf, Amblecote....Wharfinger & Batchin....any ideas
as to what they refer to?.....Writing was difficult to read.

to do with mixing precast concrete...WHARFINGER...Manager of Wharf..
