Closed PR Marriage St Marks Great Wyrley Question Please

Still a bit new to this, do parish records offer more information about a marraige. I've got one I want to look at but I just wondered if I can find any more info from parish records, before I go and get the certificte.

Its Richard Owen marrying Fanny E (either george or smith surname) 1914 Great Wyrley St Marks. c11/3/153

The parish record ie the record of the marriage at the church will have exactly the same info
as the certif you buy at the regis office
in fact it will be the original
you can take a copy normally too.

that number at the end is the entry number in the church record so you can go straight to entry no 153 for that year at that church
