Hi Jo, I went through the actual registers looking at these Cox Homer's. It seems there was no rhyme or reason to their names, some of the children are Homer others are Cox Homer :?:

The IGI has Absalom Cox bap 17.9.1797 H/O to Absalom Homer Cox and Jane.
The Register says:- Absalom son of Absalom Homer and Jane Cox.

Baptisms from the Cradley Register
18.4.1802 William son of Absalom and Jane Homer
25.3.1804 Sarah d of Absalom and Jane Homer Cradley
3.7.1808 Noah Homer son of Absalom and Jane Homer Cradley
This is all the children I have found for Absalom and Jane, although there must be a Thomas I have missed somewhere :?:

17.9.1828 Absalom son of Thomas and Mary Homer Cradley Beadle
17.9.1828 Thomas son of Thomas and Mary Homer Cradley Beadle
6.5.1832 Ann Cox d of Thomas and Mary Homer Cradley Beadle

There is also a Joseph Homer Cordwainer/Shoemaker from Cradley having children at the same time, he is also connected somehow. HTH from Linell.
