Getting old is really the short straw!

Post by Northern Lass »

Isn't it just!

and if you aint got yer teeth then straws are very very useful
:(

What do you hate about getting old?
I hate all the extra layers!
and I aint talking wrapping up warm!

that turkey neck under the chin!
gobble gobble!
awful just awful might have to wear a wig to hide it!

The white hairs in the eyebrows
the shame of it!

and if that wasn't enuff
deafness!
rubbish eyesight
and saying the same thing over and over again!

and this cold weather makes the joints so creaky!
yeah getting old sucks
but as Rob says I suppose is better than the alternative

:(

what do you hate about getting old
or do you embrace it!

I don't take water tablets, and I only drink the lower strength Lager. I can't bend my big toe unless I bend it by hand.

1. Turkey neck, got one of those and it looks worse in different mirrors.
2. Dark hair on top lip.
3. Black hairs on chin.
4. Holding on to the bath when getting off and on the loo (too much information  )
5. Making sure that I look at every step when walking down the stairs.
6. Holding on to something to get up of my knees when I'm on the floor.

And I'm only 40
