Jane is her mother according to her Baptism on the 7th May 1868 at Halesowen.

On the 1871 Census, Jane is born is Shropshire.

She is dead by 1881 so lets see if I can find her earlier....

His fathr not mentioned and deceased.
Her father a William Hyde, Labourer.

I have added the children but havent added the possible marriage Mark put up.
The reason being Thomas is as a Brickmaker on what he found and all census he is working in the mines?
Can we see if we can find more info first?

Can you check births? Sorry cant think right at the mo :roll:
Looking at the 1871 census the I may be a J for Margaret this birth in 1863
ROBERTS Margaret Oldbury Sandwell Register Office OLD/33/324

May be help in Mothers surname?
