Have you done all your Crimbo Shopping!

Post by Northern Lass »

Well that is it I have bought the Crackers for the table
wasn't going to this year
like the Crimbo cards was going to leave em
but went to shops and thought ok I will...but got the cheapest ones
£5 for a box from Boots

So expensive all the stuff and there are only so many
selection boxes you can give!

Not having a turkey having roast beef

What have you got left to do
and what are you having Christmas day to eat?

I'd love to have goose one year for christmas but it's turkey again!! :(
I'd ask you for advice but you can't cook! Well you can in a magnetron!!
We had roast pork last year with the turkey but it was a bit dry!! What can you do to stop meat becoming too dry?
Do you have to cook it slowly? Any one know any good tips?
Mind you roast beef might be a better option!!

I have a yen for lobster for Chrissy dinner. If it's hot and fine, I might do that - have a lobster & champagne Christmas picnic. No decorating, no dishes, no hot kitchen!
Some mistakes are too much fun
to only make once.
