A real or artificial christmas tree?

Post by Rob »

What are we putting up this year a real christmas tree or an artificial one?
And... when do you put them up ? The day before Christmas or now, this weekend?

Real - bought after at least a half-hour heated family discussion at the tree sellers (we go to the Mountain Rescue team's shop so the profit is to a good cause).

Usually it is put up on the 24th, sometimes the 23rd. The lights are never lit until 6pm on the 24th when Christmas officially starts.

I hate taking the tree down, so last year I left all the decorations on and just stuck the lot away in the spare room. So this year all I have to do is get it out and pop it into the living room. It's a bit dusty though
