Hi folks,
I'm hoping someone will be able to help with a Parkes family query.
Abraham and Ann Parkes, of Siviters Lane/Rowley Village, had six known children, the eldest Joseph appears in the 1841 census aged 19 years.
In 1851 there are 3 Joseph Parkes, that I know of, of the right age in Rowley Regis.
Joseph Parkes who married Sarah, aged 29, a nailmaker. Then living in Gosty Hill.
Joseph Parkes who married Fanny, aged 30, a nailer. Then living in Mincing Lane.
Joseph Parkes who married Elizabeth, aged 29, (you guessed it) a nailer. Living in Blackheath. Surname spelt Parks in this census.
If one, or fingers crossed, two can be excluded as belonging to another Parkes family it will make things easier.
Any help appreciated.

An Ancestry Tree (crockett Family Tree ) suggests that this Joseph Parkes married a Sarah, and is the father of George Benjamin Parkes b. 1846 Rowley Regis.

So it isn't Fanny Haden as we have exclueded her as that Joseph has diff father ie Joseph
and it isnt Sarah Willetts as father is Benjamin

so it could be this.

most of them can be excluded nl as joseph need to be born c1822 and the 3 hereiam listed are the only 3 in 1851 census that are right age born rr

but he might not be on 1851 census ?

How can most of them be excluded
those above could be b 1822 and living in another area

Do you have any more on this Joseph at all hereiam

One of Joseph's siblings married in 1847. The witnesses were Joseph Parkes and Elizabeth Parkes so it is possible/probable Joseph married an Elizabeth.
