he is the son of Matilda Smith formerly Rose here...

I can't find a marriage for Matilda Westwood to Joseph Smith

he is the father on this birth for Joseph

now the thing is I have done 2 look ups too

How can Matilda Marry Joseph Westwood 13 Oct 1854 St Thomas Dudley
and I have checked this father for Matilda Rose is William Rose

then Matilda is referred to as Matilda Smith formerly Rose
she should be formerly Westwood/ formerly Rose

somat aint rite
I dont think she married Joseph Smith
I think she married Westwood
he died
she had a kid by Joseph Smith
he died
and she married Wm Daniels in 1856

Don't you just love Black Widows! They always tend to do these things between the census, just to confuse you....

rite guys any ideas on this one?

I will add Joseph to the BCC tree

I can't see one, it could be they never married, or the vicar put down the wrong surname. after to much wine.

Have these marriages been looked up yet. Is it possible that Joseph Westwood should be Joseph Smith.
