Have done a look up for Genealogy fan and father for Elizabeth Plant is a Dudley Plant

I have found Elizabeth age 4 on the 1881 with Dudley father and Mother mary ann
so first can we find a marriage for Dudley and Mary Ann pls

and then can we link this Dudley Plant in with the other Plants on BCC

Dudley Plant aged 59, married to Mary Ann Plant for 38 years.

Children born alive to marriage 16, of which 8 are still living at time of census.

Children living with Dudley and Mary were:

Jesse could easily be mistaken in the trans for Isaiah

Many thanks, NL. You may be right, perhaps it is indeed that Oldbury marriage. Isaiah's sister Comfort Plant was married in Oldbury and his brother Warwick, my great great grandfather, was married in West Bromwich. But I can't see a Jesse Plant married to an Elizabeth in the area on the censuses, so it could also be a wrong transcription, "Jesse" for "Isaiah", for the Dudley wedding.

Ok just reporting back on the look ups I did

Den you need to alter that info re possibly being Elizabeth Price -it is a Jesse that married Elizabeth Plant
and his father is Romantiezer Plant
I will update the tree with the info I have found.

So the marriage must be that one at Oldbury and again I will look up and bring back info.

As regards Dudley who marries Mary Ann Askins his father checks out as Isaiah
and I will add both links to this shortly
