Hi everyone,

I'm wondering if someone could help me again in another of my searches because I've attempted to obtain the information from the IGI site and others but I can never seem to find them pre 1837.

I have found my Grt, Grt, Grt Grt Grandmother Mary Maria Smith born abt 1829 Bilston, Staffordshire who married at Tipton in 1847 a John Herbert born abt 1823, Mamble, Worcestershire.

I've got their marriage certificate which records Mary's father a John Smith and after researching the 1841 and 1851 census I think I've found some more information.

John Smith born abt 1803, Sedgley, Staffordshire married Hannah ? born abt 1805, Yardley, Worcestershire. It seems from the census Mary Maria was the first born so John and Hannah may have been married from 1825-1829 in the Tipton, Bilston or Sedgley area. I'm confident I got the right family on the census because Mary's sister Esther Smith went on to marry a Thomas Brookes and both of their names appear on Mary and John Herbert's marriage certificate.

I know it's a long shot but any ideas on John Smith and Hannah ? marriage details.
