RF kindly sent me the information I needed.......

Researching on behalf of a relative of mine, I've omitted his name cos not sure if he's still alive

England, Newspapers.com™ Stories and Events Index, 1800's to current
xxxxxxx x xxxxxxx
Topic Crime
Publication Date xx xxx 1963
Publication Place Birmingham, West Midlands
Newspaper Title The Birmingham Post and Birmingham Gazette

Obviously I was dying to know what he had done

Here we are.......

In the first case of its kind to be heard at Kidderminster xxxxxxxxxxx (21) an ice-cream vendor, of xxxxxxxxxx, Birmingham was fined £2 yesterday for sounding chimes after 7 p.m.
It was stated that his van was chiming in Birchen Coppice Estate, Kidderminster at 8.30 p.m.

Something to be proud of being the first person in Kiddy to chime his music on his ice cream van after hours.
