Our VE Day Celebrations

Post by mallosa »

I didn't want to spoil BC Wench's post so adding here..........

Yesterday at the last minute I decided we should celebrate in our grove so knocked on a few doors at 1pm and said for those wishing to join in, come out at 2pm with a chair and a tipple. My hubby rigged up 'Alexa' and put her on top of his car  We requested VE Day songs and got that going at full blast. Sure enough, they obliged! One of our neighbour's is coming up to 90 yrs old, he and his wife stayed until we started to get chilly at 7:30 .

What a great afternoon we had! Did anyone else celebrate?
