That should be just Joseph Stanley. They were living next door to the Copeland family in 1881.

Wonder if its a second marriage with age gap of children? But cant find a marriage for Joseph Stonley to a Clara

thats 1871 census jo ?

so poss he is brother to george and uncle to silas who was living in thudoe in 1901 not a big village through the wood at the back of the estate i live on

tudhoe about 1/2 a mile as the crow flys so not far (it was on who do you think you are a couple of weeks back)

I havent seen any who do you think you are this year.
