Hiya
Just thought I would say that providing all goes well I shall be in Durham Record Office on Monday 24 (all day)and Tues 25am
and then hoping to find my way back to Smethwick on the following Friday 28.
If anyone is likely to be at either of these places do make yourselves known as it would be good to put faces to names.

i be working hard record office is at county hall i think also they have some records at the university (dont know what they hold ?)but think you need to make an appointment to access them as well

Sorry you will be working - this will be my last fling before getting back to school
I have booked for the record office at County Hall.
I went to the University place last time I was up - you don't need to book there but you do need identification to register - I had forgotten it last time but must have looked trustworthy as they let me in providing I promised to bring the papers next time so I must remember to bring them with me
