ARC TBC Missing Raybould children on Census
Following the recent discussion re Thomas Manger and Mary Raybould I changed Mary Raybould to Mary Brettell on my Ancestry tree.
Family trees and hints show Mary having 4 children with James Raybould and I am trying to figure out if this is correct and what happened to them as by the time of the 1841Census she is married to Thomas Manger but there are no children mentioned as being with them.
The children found on Ancestry are ...
-Sarah (1823-1884) - she marries Isaac Willetts on 17th May 1842. Ancestry did not find an 1841 Census, the only Sarah Raybould I can find is living at somewhere called Minorie, Dudley.
-Thomas Raybould (1825-1883) - Ancestry has picked a Thomas with birth c1826 living at Northfield Road but there is atick suggesting he wasn't born locally. There are several other possibilities but none born 1825.
-Rosanna Raybould (1826-1892)- Ancestry has picked a hint for a Rosanna born 1832 with obviously different family members and I can't see an alternative.
-Jesse Raybould (1829-1844). There is evidence of birth and death but I cannot find anything else at all about Jesse.
Even if the older ones did not move in with Thomas and Mary when they married in 1833 it seems odd that there is no mention of Jesse
assuming the children do all belong to this particular James and Mary.

All there is, is this baptism,
Jesse Raybold.
Christening Date: 5 Jul 1829.
Christening Place: Halesowen, Worcestershire.
Father's James Raybold.
Mother's Mary.
it looks to me Jesse could have died between 1829 and 1841.

Re: Missing Raybould children on Census
I have just tried Family Search and still struggling. For Jesse there doesn't even seem to be death information just the birth in 1829.
The Jesse Raybould born 1805 obviously doesn't belong to James and Mary because they didn't marry until 1823 but I noticed in the Census that he lived on Lawrence Lane which is where David Manger lived so perhaps there is a connection.
I went through all the family trees on Ancestry and some use 1841 as the death date for Jesse but no evidence.
