Black Country Books getting shut of.

Post by Northern Lass »

I am having a sort out and going to sell load of books and mags
so if anyone is short of something I might have it.
It will all go thru ebay though.

I also have tons of certifs which I hope to give to the archives at Dudley
not my family but ones that are on Bcc.

All my bugles are going
and lots of
Cradley heath books
old hill books
Dudley books.
Wolverhampton books.
Halesowen books
Rowley regis books.
some Jon Raven books and Michael Raven book.
some now I think out of print.

Just thought I would draw your attention to them.
As some of you know I collected lots and lots of stuff!
Time to get rid of them now.

I have a fiche reader that I hope the archives can make use of along with some fiches of parish churches
so BC Wench if you looking in I am now getting rid of what I had from you years ago.
Got a call out to archives to see if they want it....if not and someone does let me know but it would be collection only.

Wow you are having a really good sort out aren't you.

Could you maybe put a link on here to your eBay sales, for all to view what your selling

I'm sure if the archives don't want your collection the black country museum may be interested. Especially in their new library that's being moved from Dudley as part of their forging ahead project.
My Ancestors chose me to research our families

All the Birth Death and marriage certifs I have are on Bcc
but the Archives are maybe going to have them too
Got a lever arch file full of them.

So hopefully will see them next week and then they will have them
for others to view
maybe a-z list at archives.
Should help anyone looking for a name.

I would be extremely interested in any certificates relevant to my family as I was about to send for some but difficult to work out whether you have any that are relevant. I might also be interested in some books even though I keep trying not to get any more but they seem to centre on the area my family lived in and I am in the middle of a massive family history project with my cousin in America.

It would be useful to provide a link - I have never used EBay.
