Yeah but were you thinner 15 years ago? I don't know if you're slim or chubby but if your size has increased witin the last few years then that could be a reason why your washing machine has not lasted as long as the previous one!1 That's one reason.Another could be that you're careful with your money(i'm not saying you're a tight wad) but that could also be a reason why it didn't last so long.A cheaper model!! I hope this helps.

A person should have an opinion on everything, It becomes tact whether you reveal that opinion or not.

Well you would know all about a cheaper model wouldnt you!
and wot the heck has being chubby or slim got to do with it I dont stick me self in there strewth!
Larger clothes duh!! Larger clothes means more revs per minute means more stress on the motor!! It's a well known fact that washing machines belonging to larger people have shorter lives. You still haven't said if the washing machines were from the same manufacturer.

Wot a load of rubbish you do talk some twaddle! a load is a load is a load and you are talking a load of &!£
now interestingly the best machines I ever had have been Zanussi
I have a Zanussi but not very happy with it, only got a cold water pipe for filling so it takes ages for the water to heat up, I can't imagine why I bought a washer with only one fill pipe.

Annie
think you find all new washing machine are the same now annie, because powder surpose to clean at a lower temp 30 to 40 deg your wasting power by putting cold water into hot water that already been heated to cool it down. so its so called more greener to just heat cold water from scratch
also still some houses using back boiler and hot water tanks no need to heat water, store it in the tank to wash and poss heating too much water up.

Hi Peterd & Jimmy you live and learn and there I was thinking about changing it, it's good thought about the cold cooling the hot down when it's already been heated once didn't look at it that way,so I will hang on to my Zanussi.
