"Complete"Mary Downs

Post by mumbles »

Came across this
This Mary Downs
https://www.tribalpages.com/tribe/brows ... =755148660

When correcting a Charles Downs entry for grangers14

and I think Mary is sister of this Charles Downs
https://www.tribalpages.com/tribe/brows ... onnections

Reason is that on 1871 Census Mary is shown as born F??lly Warkwickshire and Charles was born Fillongley Warks.

on bcc she is shown as married first to an Unknown George but I found marriage
8/7/1850 St.James Wednesbury
James George 54 Widower Miner High Bullen Wednesbury father James George Miner
Mary Downs 45 Sp. High Bullen Wednesbury father John Downs Labiourer
Witnesses Thomas Ray & Mary Kennell

on 1851 Census Mary is shown born Finley Warks.

I have not connected as I cannot prove Charles and Mary Downs are brother and sister and Fillongley is different location to Finley Warks.
Have added rest but will archive
