I am taking grandchildren to Black Country Museum on 15th August
and I remembered my brother telling me his lecturer at College was Betty Boo born 1922 daughter of Harold Emile Doo born 15/1/1885 and Katherine S. G. Barnsley born 1/11/1891 . Married St. Andrew Dudley 1918
Chemists shop in Museum was Doo Chemists Shop in Halesowen Road.
I am surprised that Doo family are not on BCC
Betty Doo was one of early pioneers of Industrial Radiography and became a respected lecturer in such at colleges in Midlands which was quite unusual for a woman in those days .
