I think she remarried 1896, Dec Quarter, Christ Church, Quarry Bank, to John Gauden, born about 1866, Lye, and went on to have about five more children.

Unfortunately the marriage is outside the dates of the Quarry Bank entries on FreeReg so I can't check.

Phoebes first marriage is on FreeReg 10Feb 1889, Christ Church, Quarry Bank, father Jacob Hill, Chain Striker, witn: William Hill, Sarah Ann Perks. Timothy Chances father Jesse Chance, miner.

From the above, having found them in the census (sorry can't post - using phone) I think her parents were Jacob Hill, b abt 1846, Lye, and Ann Westwood, b abt 1848, Cradley, Worcestershire (they married 26 March 1864, Old Swinford).

Without the above marriage I can't be sure, but I suspect Jacob Hills parents to be Abraham Hill, b abt 1819, Lye, and Rebecca Richards, b abt 1823, Lye. Abraham & Rebecca married 30 Sept 1843, St Thomas, Dudley.
