Could some one do a look up at the archive for me please, what I want to know is where did they get "Anhalt-Köthen" from.
Image shows birth place unknown.
If I remember right at the end of each parish there is a hand written page of notes, I could do with a copy of that to see what it says..

So what is it exactly you are after...a look up at Wolverhampton archives
for a Baptism at St Leonards?
or
are you after the census for that year at the archives?

if it is a look up at archives I will move this to other counties look ups and if someone is going
then maybe they can look up what you need.

From the census, after each parish there is usually a hand written page of notes, I need to know what is on that page.

I was thinking if Bilston library as the census on microfiche then it could be looked at there.

Where does Ancestry get Anhalt-Köthen as a birth place for him when the image shows birth place unknown.

Someone must of seen Anhalt-Köthen ( an area of Saxony in Germany )somewhere otherwise it would just say Unknown.

I have just noticed that this William Brown as birth place Unknown, but also as "where born Anhalt-Köthen. very odd.
