About 3yo at the Migrant Hostel in Oz. Mum threw stale bread out for the birds and I thought it tasted good, dirt and all.

Re: What is your earliest memory?
First day at infant school when I saw this lovely girl with long blonde hair (mine was short blonde hair) sitting on a see-saw and I went and joined her. We were friends up until the junior school, when she had to move out of the area because she was living in a pre-fab bungalow which the council were demolishing.

A few years ago i tried really incredibly hard to get back as far as i could in my mind. Coronation was easy. The weeks before i remember.I have a memory of snow up to my waist. 3 years old? But maybe it was my first day at infant school when I saw this lovely girl with short blond hair staring at another girl with long blond hair sitting on a see-saw. Never forgot it.

Oooh!! You must have been that little boy who was playing in the sandpit and kept looking over waiting for one of us to get off the see-saw. If you'd have come over and asked for a ride on the see-saw I would have let you have a go.
