Hello everyone I'm new, I am researching SMART and WHITEHOUSE at present. My Grandmother Louisa SMART born Tipton 1870 died Stalybridge 1908.
This is what I have so far, Parents John and Susanna, I have a couple of census forms for the family but any pictures or family connections would be lovely.
Louisa married I think a William WHITEHOUSE, the only link I have found is for 1896 Coseley. They had two daughters Annie Louisa born Princes End Staffordshire and Elizabeth born 1900 Shotton Flintshire.

So Louisa's husband had died about 1900, in 1901 Louisa married John Beaman my Grandad in Holywell Flintshire. Their children were,
John Beaman b.1902 shotton, Francis b.1903 -d. 1904, Shotton, Sarah Ellen b. 1904 d.1907 Stalybridge, Florence b. 1906 d. 1907 Stalybridge, Eva b. 1907 d. 1908 Stalybridge.

Hello all, sorry for the delay in replying, I got such a shock when I logged in yesterday and found all the replies I knocked a cup of tea over the laptop and I had to turn off again. Sorry I don't have any family documents regarding Louisa Smart , the only certificate I have is my parents marriage certificate. I only found out who she was myself a couple of weeks ago I have been searching for her maiden name for four years. I finally found her maiden name on the birth records for the three children John and Louisa had in Stalybridge. I cannot believe how much information you found in a few hours I am amazed, a huge thanks to all of you. My dad died when I was young and the only thing I knew was that he was born in Wales in 1902, they moved in 1906 and his mother died in 1908 and he lived in Stalybridge. I started doing my family tree late in life. The Black Country Connections site is brilliant, a huge amount of work has obviously gone into it , just one question how does the Smart family link in ?
