Hi
Need help with another
Have marriage cert for Frederick Edward Cutler and Amy Georgina Cox(Daughter of Thomas Cox and Jane Ellen Hughes). On cert it states father as James Cutler but cant read occ. Frederick is age 23 so born about 1862 found him on 71 census with father 81 census i dont understand and after marriage with Amy on 91 census listed as Cutten, Cutter on 1901.

Edith Cutler age 6 Born Rowley

James Cutler age 41 Born Brockmoor Forge staffordshire
Matilia Cutler age 45 wife Born Wordsley
Eli Billingham age 70 Lodger
Frederick Cutler age 17 Lodger son

Can anyone find who James was married to?

On 1861 he is at Spinners end with a Louisa

but something is odd with that 1881 is that the correct census for him?

and someone on ances trees has him as James " a twin" cutler

There seems to be a difference in these two Ediths. There isn't a death for one.

This is a different family, Living in Sedgley in 1881.

I dont think that 1881 is the correct James what does anyone else think.

Louisa must die prior to 1871 then James may remarry and suppose the only way of checking who he marries is find him on census
but I cant see him in 1881 can anyone else
must be mistrans

or maybe find him on later census or a death or any of the kids

1891 theres a James Cutler with wife Janetta daughter Edith age 17 and Eli Billingham age 81 living in Quarry Bank, none of this makes sense to me

It is odd that 1881 so perhaps James cutler died too and kids farmed out

I think that other james is a different one this maybe the marriage and that could be checked to see father and if same as Louisa marriage
