parents are supposed to be James Nock and Phoebe unknown
but somat aint rite...

on the 1851 ( and I will amend in notes) that James is with William Nock age 53 and wife Sarah as a visitor not a son
Edmund is Edward there too.

Why is he not down as son on 1861 ?
is he actually son of William.... I am unsure!

On the marriage of Moses nock to Mary Pugh no father is on!!
now Moses is born 1854...the name James nock should have been there

yet on Edmunds b 1844 he is on ie James nock

not done Daniels b 1851 yet but wonder if our James the father actually died before Daniel and Moses were born!

There are two James Nocks whose deaths are registered in Dudley in 1857, NL and FS, one in the March Quarter, the other in the June Quarter.

There is a Davies connection with Moses Nock if I have the right parents for Martha Pugh b. 1860 Bishops Castle, Shropshire, dau. of Thomas Pugh b. abt. 1838 Lydbury, Shropshire, and Martha Davies b. 1842 Clun, Shropshire, marr. Bishops Castle abt Jun. 1860. Moses Nock and Mary née Pugh are listed in the 1911 census, this is a corrected version of what I had on them. They seem to have returned to Old Hill briefly, and possibly spent time in Liverpool. If I have the right Moses, their son, he appears to have married in Liverpool and emigrated to Canada. I've a sense that other family members e.g. John may also have gone to Canada / USA :
