"Complete"Woodward,Smith and Cole

Post by mumbles »

Jan added this William Woodward 16/3/2014
http://www.bcconnections.tribalpages.co ... =919254440

Having added Census details I notice two things :-
Emma Smith had two children before marriage
Abigail Smith born 1866
and Sarah Smith born 1869

Abigail Smith I believe went on to marry a Joseph Cole in 1886 St. Paul Blackheath
Could be this one
http://www.bcconnections.tribalpages.co ... =138761234

Marriage would reveal father of Abigail and Sarah

SMITH Abigail COLE Joseph Blackheath, St Paul Dudley Register Office 012/002/170 1886
Also found family :- 1871
1871 Census Causeway Blackheath Rowley Regis Dudley Staffs.
Job Smith Head 75 Widow Nail Maker
John Smith son 30 Nail Maker
Emma Smith Dau. 25 Nail Maker
Abigail Smith grd.dau 5 Scholar
Sarah Smith grd.dau 2
All born Rowley Regis Staffs.

Thanks corner-shop
It would appear that father was William Smith Navvie deceased
but Emma Smith did not marry him and was a spinster when she married William Woodward
I will add with note
