I'm pretty certain that Joseph Williams is the son of John Williams b.1770 and the brother of George Lloyd Williams b.1797 however not yet conected on BCC.
1841 census has Joseph living in Northfield with his wife Hannah and in 1851 he's still living in Woodgate,Northfield but this time with Mary.
http://bcconnections.tribalpages.com/tr ... =575525476I cannot find marriages for Joseph Williams - Hannah Unknown or Joseph Williams - Mary Unknown .

Rob you said "Joseph Williams is the son of John Williams b.1870"
Did you mean to put (as in your title) 1807?

Since Sarah was Hannah's daughter then this marriage is a possibility

Marriage Place: Birmingham, St Philip, Warwickshire, England
Spouse: Mary Dyke
Spouse Gender: Female
Spouse Marriage Age: Of Full Age
Father: John Williams [labourer]

Joseph is down as a labourer though; both living at Hill Street. Joseph signed his name.
Witnesses Hannah and Thomas Dafforn.
And this is one possibility for the other marriage

http://bcconnections.tribalpages.com/fa ... ler-Family Previous entry on the same day: William Grantum (?) married Elizabeth Guest; witnesses Mary Ann Guest and Thomas Jenkins. Not sure if they are related.
Matilda's baptism is soon afterwards

Deaths Jun 1845
WILLIAMS Hannah Kings Norton 18 306
That could be the first wife, then a hasty remarriage in May 1846.

Thanks Gardener for your information. I'm convinced Joseph Williams is George Lloyd Williams's brother. So i'm going to add the info to my tree.
