Isaac Brown

I have found a marriage for Isaac on Fmp and family search for 13 May 1833 Sedgley to Eluzabeth Williams I am hoping he is a widower. I believe he was born about 1800 Dudley he has a son Samuel Brown born about 1820 who marries Maria Isles.

I think Isaac was previously married to Eleanor Walton 1819 St Mary Kingswinford and she is the mother of the above Samuel as I have a copy of his baptism. But in the 1841 census Isaac is living with Elizabeth 50 Samuel 20 and Eliza 15 at Halesowen Road.

I can't find a ref number for the 1833 marriage to post on the look up list so not sure what to do now.

nessa, you won't find a reference number for that marriage, because BMD certificates didn't commence until 1st July 1837. You'll need to look, or some kind soul, in the Parish Register for the marriage to see if it gives if he's a widower or not.
