Which printer?
I am looking to buy another ink jet printer, probably a photo printer. Any recommendations? My present one Epson R265 prints a great photo but I have had ongoing probs with the software. On 3 ocassions I have replaced more cartridges than necessary as it seems to fail to recognise full ones or genuine Epson ones. When one runs out it also says that 2 other colours are empty. I am ditching it as its costing a fortune. It is now 16months old.

A person should have an opinion on everything, It becomes tact whether you reveal that opinion or not.

Re: Which printer?
Mine is an HP printer/scanner all in one -4200 or similar number-very easy to use and no problems
never tried a none HP cartridge yet but will do next time and see how it goes.
can get a better spec for not much more if you do a lot of photos, although quality on mine is fine for my limited use

Re: Which printer?
I've had both Epson and HP "photo-quality" printers and was not entirely happy with either of them. Now I have a Canon and it's great! Sorry, can't give the model number - it's at home about 2000 kms away.
