I need to get my head round this...

How do we know that Edward that marries Louisa is son of edward and Phebe?
his age after marriage is out on census.

I think i need to disconnect Edward as son of Edward the anvil maker as edward puts father edward lab on marriage

however Thomas puts father anvil maker on marriage so I think he is son of edward and phebe
but census is confusing for the thomas with that family

So do we think that Thomas is son of Edward the Anvil maker ....he puts that on marriage info as occup for his father
if so is it the one with Phebe as mother......
age is out and name is weird too on census.

NL, I'm now convinced that the family of Thomas & Sylvia (Williams) Bradley is the correct one, even though on census info the births are out.

I've been following through on marriages and censuses of their children. I've just found their son Samuel Bradley born abt 1866 enlisted in the 4th Rifle Brigade (Prince Consort's Own) on 11th August 1884. On his papers it states that his father is Thomas Bradley of Faneys (Fannys) Lane, Lye (this is where the family are living in the 1891-1911 censuses)

I now think that the Thomas Bradley we've been looking for was born in 1844 and is the son of Edward & Phoebe (Taylor) Bradley.
I also think that the Edward Bradley who married Louisa Homer is also the son of Edward & Phoebe (Taylor) Bradley. BUT, I can't find baptisms for them only possible birth registrations.
