I am working on my Family Tree. There are so many Skidmore families it is really interesting but can be frustrating trying to trace the right Skidmore lines. My Grandparents were William Henry Skidmore and Edith Skidmore (nee Brookes) from Pensnett. Anyone else tracing their roots back to the Skidmores. As I live in Devon now, any information would be appreciated. I am on Ancestry if anyone wants to look at my tree. Many thanks.

I'm descended from a John Skidmore who was born about 1784 in Brockmore, and died in 1867 in Tipton. He was a pudler and later a labourer in an ironworks. His daughter Charlotte married George Baugh, and it's from this line I'm descended.
