hopefully its just the two dissused water tower, but surely the archive should be all digitally backup by now if the original were sadly destroyed, if not back up time to divert some lottery money to do it ?
A person should have an opinion on everything, It becomes tact whether you reveal that opinion or not.

They said on the news that the actual archives were not near the fire ,and were safe
It's easy to stand with the crowd . It takes courage to stand alone
