Peter,

The mother of Alice Southall that you refer to is Lucinda Harper who, in turn was the daughter of Benjamin Harper and Mary Ann Harper. Lucinda had a sister, Matilda, who was a witness at her marriage. The other witness was a William Southall.
The 1861 census record of Benjamin in Tye's Lane, which you show on our other thread, shows him living with his daughter Matilda and her husband, William Southall.
Matilda, married William Southall on 6 June 1852 in St Thomas’ Church, Dudley.
