Nearly Christmas

Post by Rob »

My mate Winston just phoned he says he just saw Chris Rea filling up at the petrol station. He told him he's driving home for Christmas. :? :o

 That was a cartoon in the last issue of Private Eye.

With the weather forecast being what it is I think I'll bring the tree in today, normally I leave it 'til the Day before Christmas Eve, just to dry off mind you, it won't be dressed 'til Christmas Eve.
Currently investigating the Hillmans of Sussex.

My mom's just moved into a lovely place in Wall Heath, Kingswinford. It's a bit of a wrench moving home at 94, but she's settling in and at least now my four sisters all live within walking distance. One of my sisters text us others last week to say she'd got mom a Christmas tree, just thought I'd let you know, she said, just in case she gets five. Now that would be OTT.

Seen him a few times this week. Probably see him again on Monday - I will remember you to him. Merry Christmas to you and your family - perhaps we'll get to meet next time your home.

Wishing everyone a very MERRY CHRISTMAS and a HAPPY NEW YEAR. You all are a great group of people, and thanks for all your help this past year. I was so glad to see that it is ok to say "Merry Christmas" on this forum, but that's subject for another time. Looks like we will have a white Christmas after all. Got 1/4 inch of ice last night and then 4 inches of snow this am. It's beautiful, but not great to drive in. Glad my shopping is all done! Again, everyone have a great CHRISTMAS.
