FIBIS - Oh dear.

Post by AndrewA »

The Families in British India Society make a lot of noise how good they are, how many experts they have blah blah, so i thought this is ideal community to find more info about my William HEATH and if he or his family did set up Heaths Hotel and Confectioners and rest room in Ooty.

I had to pay £15 membership just to access the social networking side of things, including forum. Forum is a joke, one person posts something once a month if lucky. None of the people I had for down for contacts bothered replying to me, so I make a new post appealing for information and help, but 2 weeks later its been deleted and I have not had a response as to why.

Seriously this is bad.
Hit a Brickwall? Have you lost all trace of someone? Do not despair, simply make a note they were abducted by aliens! Don't believe in aliens? No problem, just write them off as having disapeared in a time portal

A person should have an opinion on everything, It becomes tact whether you reveal that opinion or not.

Unfortunately they have grabbed a lot of records that nobody else can now digitise. It would be great if one of the big guys just purchased their collection. Preferably Ancestry because Find My Past would just set up FMP India and add a premium to their world subscription.
