Reviewing my records, I have unearthed a forgotten copy of a marriage certificate
, which I obtained some time ago in my search for my Raybould connection. It turned out not to be relevant to my family but it does relate to two families shown on BCC.The certificate is for the marriage of a William Raybould to a Phoebe Elizabeth Shakespeare in Oldswinford on 22 December 1860. Both are shown to be aged 26 years and William is described as a 'Puddler'; the father of William is shown as Phineas Raybould (Miller) and Phoebe's father is shown as Noah Shakespeare (? Clerk).
