On BCC we have a Sarah Russell, born 1715, marrying Daniel Tromans, born 1709/10,
they were married in 1731 which would make Sarah 16 at the time, far too young for the period.
Can anyone tell me where this came from so I can check it out for accuracy?
My opinion is she was born 1697 the daughter of John Russell, a gent, of Rowley Regis

Re: Sara Russell
Hi you would need to PM Dennis who added Sarah to BCC. Girls could marry at 12, so it is perfectly normal for that time period.
