Clarke, Cooke,Moseley, Richards and Trinder

Post by CRAIGLETS »

Hi!

I have been doing my family tree for some time now and would love to have and share any information!

My main family from Black Country would be the Clarkes,Cooke's and some of my RIchards family lived there as well.
They were very active with the Wesleyan Methodist and the non- conformist churches. Also, have a family vault at St. Mary's in Old Swinford, where the family was very active in the church.
I have old family diaries that list many names from Dudley and Stourbridge and the Lye and would like to piece places and names together.

Thanks!

Hi Craiglets you found us ok then!

Well sounds like you have some marvellous information to share....you will be right at home here then!

Now just to explain a little...

For any posts concerning any counties other than the Black Country area ...then please post in General Discussion.
And at the top of the board few other areas of interest to peruse too!

For the Black Country area if you scroll down the board you come to Black Country Genealogy section.
Anything to do with the Black Country be it ancestors or history post in that section.

And as I know you are aware from the link I sent you, we have a Black Country Connections family tree that a whole load
of us are involved in!

Just click on the website logo on any of my posts and it will take you there.
It will be good to get you involved in that!

Names you want to know about or place....you have come to the rite place!

Welcome to the forum

Hi Craiglets, I knew a Rev Trinder and a Rev Clarke, both Ministers at Short Cross Methodist Chapel Halesowen. Who are you looking for? Linell.

A person should have an opinion on everything, It becomes tact whether you reveal that opinion or not.

The Rev. Clarke that you have- is that Edward Owen Clarke?

The Trinder names are Jane Trinder and Richard Trinder who died in 1778.

Hi Craiglets, it was Rev C.J. Clarke 1961 - 1964 and Rev W. Trinder 1957 - 1961. Best Wishes from Linell.
