I was eleven ,when that film was shot , we never had holidays , I was fourteen before I saw the sea . We had a days outing once a year with the school ,and a group of ladies from the church took us to Church Stretton. I don't like flying now , i would rather go to Cornwall than go abroad .

In Oldbury they sent you to Malvern if you were under privileged,you know had your clothes off the Providence check.

That is so lovely sparks, thanks for sharing. Their little faces when they saw the sea and that little lad, the one with the little quiff of hair at the front of his head was gorgeous. Wonder what he looks like nowadays.
